Perimeter security
Protecting the boundary of your property starts with understanding it.

What it is
The set of measures that protect the boundaries, entrances and outer areas of a property, combining physical, electronic and operational layers.
What it can include
- Assessment of the perimeter: boundaries, fences, entrances and surrounding conditions.
- Physical measures (fences, gates, barriers) and access control.
- Perimeter detection using electronic technology.
- Integration with guards and with other controls.
How we adapt it to your case or need
For perimeter security, adapting means starting from the real boundary of the property and how it works.
- Type of boundary: fences, gates and entrances.
- Combination of physical, electronic and operational measures.
- Detection technology suited to the terrain and the surrounding conditions.
- Integration with guards and with cameras.
- Responsibilities of each party when an alert is raised.
Technology. We work with technology from CIAS, a manufacturer specialising in perimeter detection. The choice of each device depends on what your property needs.
CIAS technologies
Detection technologies that may be assessed.
Each device uses a different detection principle. Selection depends on the site design, the environmental conditions and the agreed scope.

MICRO-RAY: linear microwave barrier
Uses linear microwave beams to detect intrusion along a defined corridor. CIAS presents it as an option for narrow passages or areas that need a linear barrier. It is not a Doppler radar.

MURENA COMPACT+: FSK radar
A radar sensor using FSK technology. CIAS also describes digital analysis and an integrated MEMS sensor that detects displacement of the device. Its use at entrances, outdoors or indoors is assessed for the specific site and the configuration required.

SIOUX MEMS PRO2: fence-mounted detection
Uses MEMS sensors mounted on the fence to analyse its movement and detect events such as cutting, climbing or displacement attempts. Suitability depends on the type and condition of the fence and on the design of the installation.
Installing a sensor does not by itself mean that continuous monitoring, video verification or a response to an alert is provided. Those functions, their hours and who is responsible are agreed separately.
How the service is defined
- We understand the site and its operation.
- We review boundaries and entrances.
- We compare the possible measures.
- We define responsibilities.
- We propose a written scope.
Before you hire
What to define before hiring.
Every property's perimeter is different. These are the points that most help define a solution.
- What is the perimeter like, and what are the characteristics of the terrain?
- What entrances exist, and who uses them?
- What physical measures are in place today: fences, gates, barriers?
- What should happen when an intruder is detected?
- Who will respond to an alert?
Good to know
No technology is universal.
No technology is a universal solution. Detecting an intrusion, raising the alarm, verifying and responding are separate steps, defined case by case. For security reasons we do not publish the numbers, locations or configurations of installed systems.

Frequently asked questions
What does "assessing the perimeter" mean?
Walking the property and understanding its boundaries, entrances and conditions in order to recommend suitable measures.
Do you only sell equipment?
No. We start from the assessment; the equipment follows from what the site requires.
Can it be integrated with cameras and guards?
Yes, that is the usual way of working.
